Sony FX5 Full-Frame Cinema Camera Rental in Surrey, BC
Sony's full-frame cinema camera for narrative, commercial and documentary work. It takes Sony E-mount lenses directly, so our G Master zooms and primes fit it, from the FE 16-35 GM II to the 70-200 GM II, and Canon EF glass goes on with our Vizelex EF to E-mount adapter. If you want a smaller body on the same mount, the FX3 costs less per day, and the FX30 less again with its Super 35 sensor.

Good to know
- It's body only, so add a Sony E-mount lens from the list below.
- It runs on Sony's NP-SA100 battery, not the NP-FZ100 the FX3 uses. Sony rates one at about 105 minutes of normal recording with the screen on.
- There's no built-in ND, so plan on ND filters for bright exteriors.
- The body has a 3.5 mm mic input. The two XLR inputs come on Sony's XLR handle, which isn't listed in the case.
- There's no viewfinder in the case, only the rear screen. In bright sun, plan on a monitor.
