A zoom as bright as a prime, for Sony E-mount. At f/2 it lets in a stop more light than an f/2.8 zoom, so you get a softer background and more room in dim venues anywhere from 28 to 70mm. It's heavier than the 24-70 GM II and starts at 28mm, so take the 24-70 when you need wider or lighter. It fits the FX3, FX30, FX6 and every A7 body we rent.

Good to know
- It's a lens only. Add a Sony E-mount camera.
- Front and rear caps, the hood and a 86mm UV filter come with it.
- On a Super 35 body like the FX30, it frames like a 42-105mm lens.
- 86mm is an uncommon filter size, so check that your ND and polarizing filters fit before the shoot.
