Tascam DR-10L Lavalier Microphone Rental in Surrey, BC
A lav mic with its own tiny recorder, so the sound is captured on the person rather than sent over a wireless link. Clip the recorder to a belt or slip it in a pocket: it records WAV files to a microSD card for about 10 hours on one AAA battery. Dual recording saves a second copy 6 or 12 dB lower, so a sudden laugh or shout doesn't ruin the take. Sync it to the camera audio in the edit. When you need to hear the mic live, take our Rode Wireless PRO or Sennheiser G3 instead.

Good to know
- No microSD card is in the case. It takes microSD up to 2 GB or microSDHC up to 32 GB.
- It runs on one AAA battery. None is in the case, so bring a fresh one for each day.
- Sound records on the person, so you sync it to the camera in the edit. A clap or slate at the top of each take makes that quick.
- Nothing reaches the camera live. Plug headphones into the recorder to check the mic before you roll.
