Shotgun Mic Shockmount Rental in Surrey, BC

A suspension mount that holds a shotgun mic in elastic bands, so bumps and handling noise from a boom pole or camera rig don't reach the recording. Screw it to the end of a boom pole or onto a mic stand. For wind outdoors, our RODE blimp has its own shock mount built in, and the Rycote pistol grip mount lets you hold the mic by hand.

$9 for 3 days$13 for a week

Weekend rate: out Friday from 12 pm and back Monday by 12 pm is 1 day. An earlier pickup or later return is 3 days.

Good to know

It holds the mic only. Add a boom pole like our K-Tek KE-89, or a mic stand.
It stops handling noise, not wind. Add a foam windshield indoors, or our RODE Blimp outdoors.
Check that the mic fits the mount before the shoot. For a thin mic, add our Microphone Mount Adapter Insert.
Leave a little slack in the mic cable so it doesn't carry bumps past the mount.
