PrismLens Handheld Split Diopter FX 100mm Filter Rental in Surrey, BC

A +2 diopter glass filter, 100 mm across, that you hold in front of the lens by a two-finger handle. Part of the frame gets magnified and refracted while the rest stays as the lens sees it, for split-focus, abstract looks in music videos and portraits. Move and tilt it during the take to place the effect. For a ghosting motion-blur look, try the PrismLens Spectre FX alongside it.

Good to know

You hold it in front of the lens, so it works on any lens, with no thread to match.
It's 100 mm across. On a large cinema lens, check that it covers the front element.
It's a +2 diopter, so the part of the frame behind the glass focuses much closer than the rest.
The effect changes with focal length and aperture. Test it at the lens and stop you'll shoot.
