Manfrotto MVH502AH Fluid Video Head Rental in Surrey, BC
A fluid video head for mirrorless cameras, DSLRs and mid-size camcorders. It carries up to 7 kg, with a fixed counterbalance set for about 4 kg, and the pan and tilt drag adjust for smooth moves. A long sliding quick-release plate lets you balance the rig front to back. This is the head only: its flat base takes a 3/8-inch screw, so it fits our Manfrotto MT055 or 290 legs. For a heavier camera, our Manfrotto 504HD kit carries more.

Good to know
- It's the head only. Add flat-top legs, like our Manfrotto MT055 or 290 legs.
- Counterbalance is fixed at 4 kg. A rig near that weight holds its tilt best when you let go.
- Pan and tilt drag both adjust, so you can set how stiff the moves feel.
- For an FX6 or a heavier rig, our 504HD has counterbalance you can step up to 7.5 kg.

Counterbalance in four steps up to 7.5 kg instead of fixed at 4 kg, and Manfrotto gives a 12 kg safety payload, so it carries an FX6. It has a 75 mm half ball, so flat-top legs like our MT055 need a half-ball adapter. It weighs 2.77 kg against 1.69 kg.
