Easyrig

Easyrig Minimax Rental in Surrey, BC

A vest and support arm that moves the weight of a handheld camera onto your hips, so you can hold handheld framing through long interviews, documentary days and events. It hangs the camera by its top handle and is set for rigs between 2 and 7 kg, so it suits a built-out cinema camera like our FX6 or URSA Mini more than a bare mirrorless body. The rig weighs 3.4 kg. For floating moving shots, a gimbal like our RS4 Pro does that job.

Good to know

Weigh your full rig before you book: camera, lens, battery, monitor and mic.
The camera hangs from a hook, so your rig needs a top handle or cage with a point to hook onto.
Set the support bar and spring tension to your rig and your height before the shoot, not on set.
It needs no power.
