A small folding drone that weighs under 249 g and shoots 4K video at up to 30 fps and 12 MP stills. A battery gives up to 31 minutes in calm air, and it handles wind up to about 10 m/s. Good to know

  • It weighs under 250 g, so in Canada it needs no registration or drone pilot certificate. You still need to keep clear of airports and crowds.
  • There's no obstacle sensing, only a downward sensor for hovering, so give trees, wires and buildings plenty of room.
  • The 31-minute flight time is measured in still air. Wind and cold cut it, so plan on more than one battery for a shoot.
  • It records to microSD only. There's no built-in storage.
