DJI Mavic 3 Pro Rental in Surrey, BC

A three-camera drone: a 4/3 Hasselblad main camera plus 70mm and 166mm equivalent telephotos, so you can get tight aerial shots without flying close. It shoots up to 5.1K at 50 fps and flies up to 43 minutes per battery in calm conditions. Obstacle sensing works in every direction. It weighs about 958 g, so in Canada you need a drone pilot certificate to fly it. For a smaller drone that costs less per day, take our DJI Mini 4 Pro.

Good to know

  • In Canada, a Basic drone pilot certificate covers flying away from people in uncontrolled airspace. Controlled airspace or flying near bystanders takes the Advanced certificate.
  • This is the standard Mavic 3 Pro, not the Cine, so it records H.264 or H.265, not ProRes.
  • Shoot D-Log or D-Log M on the Hasselblad camera for 10-bit footage you can grade.
  • The 43-minute flight time is measured in still air. Wind and cold cut it, so plan on more than one battery for a shoot.
