BLAZAR Remus 45mm T2.0 1.5x Anamorphic PL Mount Lens Rental in Surrey, BC

A full-frame anamorphic prime with a 1.5x squeeze, for oval bokeh, horizontal flares and a wide frame once you desqueeze (about 2.67:1 from a 16:9 sensor). At 720 g it's light for a gimbal or handheld rig. It opens to T2.0, focuses to 0.68 m and takes 77 mm filters. It's PL mount, so it fits PL cameras directly and Sony E-mount bodies through our DZOFilm Octopus adapter. Pair it with the Remus 100mm for tighter shots.

Good to know

  • The front cap, the rear PL cap and a 77mm UV filter are in the case.
  • It's PL mount and needs a camera body. On a Sony E-mount camera like the FX3 or FX6, add our DZOFilm Octopus or MOFAGE POCO II adapter.
  • It's manual focus only. The focus and iris gears take a follow focus or lens motor.
  • Footage records squeezed. Set your monitor or edit to a 1.5x desqueeze to see the true frame.

A 77mm UV filter is in the case. It takes 77mm screw-in filters, or a clamp-on matte box on the 80 mm front.
