A stereo audio cable: left and right RCA plugs on one end, a 3.5mm stereo plug on the other. Use it to send a mixer's or playback device's RCA output into a camera, recorder or speaker with a 3.5mm input. RCA outputs are usually line level, much hotter than a mic, so turn the camera's input gain right down, or set it to line input if it has one.

- Red is usually the right channel and white the left.
- It works the other way too: a phone or laptop headphone jack into a mixer's RCA inputs.
- It's unbalanced, so keep it away from power cables to avoid hum.
