SmallRig Mini Matte Box Pro Rental in Surrey, BC
A compact matte box for mirrorless and small cinema cameras. It sits in front of the lens and blocks stray light from the sides and top, which stops flare and keeps contrast up when the sun or a lamp is just out of frame. It also holds filters in trays, so you can swap NDs and diffusion without unscrewing anything from the lens. We also rent the SmallRig Lightweight Matte Box 2660.

Good to know
- It mounts on a 95mm ring. Lenses with 67, 72, 77 or 82mm threads need the matching adapter ring.
- It holds 4x5.65-inch filters in trays. Bring your own filters or add ours.
- A screw-in filter such as a CPL can sit in the adapter ring if its outer edge is under 92.5mm.
- It clamps onto the lens, so no rods are needed.
