A dry-erase slate with clapper sticks for marking takes. Write the scene, shot and take on the board, hold it in frame and snap the sticks: the sharp clap gives your editor a sync point to line up sound from a separate recorder, like our Zoom F6 or H4N Pro, with the picture.

Weekend rate: out Friday from 12 pm and back Monday by 12 pm is 1 day. An earlier pickup or later return is 3 days.

Good to know
- It's a dry-erase board, so use dry-erase markers only.
- Hold it in frame and in focus, clap the sticks once, then pull it out.
- For a quiet scene, clap softly close to the mic.
