Schneider 4x4 Linear True-Pol Polarizing Filter Rental in Surrey, BC

A 4x4 linear polarizer for a matte box. Rotate it to cut reflections off glass, water and wet roads, pull glare off leaves, or darken a blue sky. Because it's linear, it can confuse autofocus and metering on DSLRs, so it suits manual-focus cinema setups. For a DSLR lens, our Tiffen 77mm Circular Polarizer screws on instead. Pair it with our Schneider 4x4 ND 1.2 when you need less light as well.

Weekend rate: out Friday from 12 pm and back Monday by 12 pm is 1 day. An earlier pickup or later return is 3 days.

Good to know

It needs a matte box with a rotating 4x4 tray. It does not screw onto a lens.
Being linear, it can throw off autofocus and metering on stills cameras. For a DSLR lens, take our Tiffen 77mm circular polarizer.
It takes away some light, so check exposure once it is set.
