K&F Concept 82mm Variable ND Filter ND2–ND400 Rental in Surrey, BC

A variable ND for 82mm lenses: turn the ring to dial in anywhere from one to about eight and a half stops of darkening, so you can shoot wide open or keep a normal shutter speed in full sun without swapping filters. It fits lenses like our RF 24-70 F2.8 and Sony 24-70 GM II. Near the strongest end, variable NDs can show a dark cross or uneven patches, so back off if you see it. If five stops is enough, the K&F 82mm Variable ND 2-32 costs less per day.

Good to know

  • It screws onto lenses with an 82mm filter thread. For smaller threads, add our step rings.
  • The stops are marked on the ring, so you can return to a setting between takes.
  • Near the dark end, watch for a dark cross or uneven patches and back off if you see them.
