Hoya 58mm Variable ND Rental in Surrey, BC
A variable ND for lenses with a 58mm filter thread. Turn the front ring to darken the image, so you can keep a wide aperture and a normal video shutter speed in bright sun. Most variable NDs show a dark cross or uneven darkening near the end of their range, so stop short of the end. For 77mm lenses, take our Tiffen Variable ND 77mm, and our step-up rings fit filters to other thread sizes.

Good to know
- It screws onto lenses with a 58mm filter thread. For other sizes, add our step rings.
- Set it to its lightest, frame and focus, then turn it darker. Check focus again at the dark end.
- Back off a little if a dark X shows across the frame.
