Powers a monitor, camera or other device with a 4-pin XLR power input from the D-Tap port on a V-mount or Gold Mount battery. It's how you run a field monitor or a cinema camera off a big battery instead of the wall. D-Tap passes the battery's full voltage, so check your device accepts it before plugging in.

It's a power cable, not an audio cable. 4-pin XLR is the power input on many monitors and cinema cameras.
