A 2.4 x 2.4 m (8x8 ft) collapsible frame for big, soft light: stretch diffusion over it to soften sun on an exterior, or put a large light behind it for a wide, soft source on a group or wide shot. Rig it on two sturdy stands, like our Matthews combo stands, and sandbag them well, since an 8x8 catches wind like a sail. For a smaller job, take our 4x4 frame with silk.

Good to know

Ask us which fabrics go out with the kit when you book, so you know what you can stretch on the frame.
Rig it between two strong stands, one at each side, and sandbag both.
In any wind, keep a person on each stand, and bring it down when gusts pick up.
It takes two people to set up, carry and fly.
