Smoke Machines

CHAUVET DJ Hurricane Haze 4D Rental in Surrey, BC

A haze machine that fills a room with a thin, even haze, so light beams and backlight show up on camera without visible puffs of smoke. It heats up in about 2 minutes, holds 3.75 L of fluid and takes DMX control. It draws about 1,100 W, so give it its own circuit. For thick, rolling fog, take our American DJ 2000 instead. Check for smoke detectors before running it indoors.

Good to know

It runs on Chauvet HFG haze fluid. Chauvet says to use only its own fluids.
It draws 1,120 W, so give it its own circuit, not a power strip shared with lights.
It uses about 10 ml of fluid a minute, so a full tank lasts over 6 hours at that rate.
Chauvet says to drain the tank before moving it, and to use it indoors only.
It can set off smoke detectors. Check with the venue before you run it.
