Canon Speedlite 580EX II Rental in Surrey, BC

Canon's former flagship speedlight for EOS cameras, with E-TTL II, high-speed sync and a zoom head covering 24 to 105mm. It puts out a guide number of 58 m at ISO 100 and 105mm, runs on four AA batteries and recycles in 0.1 to 6 seconds. Set as master, it can fire other Canon Speedlites optically. For radio triggering off camera, our Godox V860III-C is the easier pick.

Good to know

  • It runs on four AA batteries, and none are listed in the case. Bring a fresh set and a spare.
  • Its wireless control is optical, so the master on the camera needs a line of sight to it.
  • For radio triggering, take our Godox V860III-C with an Xpro-C trigger instead.
  • Add our Godox S2 bracket to put it in a Bowens softbox.
